Story:
Ban Nong Pham Village
Ban Nong Pham (also known as Rim Lao) is a Lahu Christian village of 28 houses with the population around 165 people, away from Chiang Mai about 130 kilometers northeast in Chiang Rai province. Thai Tribal Crafts (TTC) first started to work with the women in this village in 1995.
The number of producers fluctuated depending on the orders that TTC can provide to producers. Currently there are 10 producers. The products they make include: Shoulder Bags, Table Runners and Wall Hangings of woven geometric designs.
